Apple has announced that it will be unveiling its new lineup of iPhones this September.
The company has started sending out official invites to the event. The invitation image shows the iconic Apple logo in a host of colors, namely green, blue, yellow, red, and purple. Below that, the words “By innovation only.” is written.
According to reports, Apple is expected to reveal three new smartphones that will become successors to the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR, respectively. It’s also rumoured that the XS and XS Max successors may have a triple rear camera setup and that the front camera may be equipped with 120fps slow-motion. Other rumors include a reverse-wireless charging option for the AirPod’s case, same screen resolution as the previous generation, include Haptic Touch to replace 3D Touch, Face ID sensor, and will retain the Lightning port.
Apple is set to unveil the new iPhones on September 10, at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California, at 10 AM, US time.
