At CES 2020, ASUS announced the Chromebook Flip C436 – the first Chromebook to meet Intel’s Project Athena requirements.
The Chromebook Flip C436 sports a 14-inch FHD display that features Samsung’s NanoEdge display with a 100% sRGB gamut coverage. Under the hood, it can sport up to an Intel Core i7-10510U processor with Intel UHD Graphics. It’s equipped with 8GB/16GB of RAM paired with 128GB/256GB/512GB of fast SSD storage. The Chromebook Flip C436 can connect wirelessly via dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
For audio, ASUS equipped the Chromebook Flip C436 with a quad-speaker array with Harman Kardon certification. There’s also a 3.5mm audio combo jack for users who prefer using headphones.
The ASUS is yet to set an official release date and pricing for the Chromebook Flip C436.
