ASUS ROG Masters APAC Finals to be held in the Philippines

Only a few days left before the commencement of the regional finals for the ROG Masters and it’s all going to happen in the Philippines this month.

There will be four phases in the tournament, two of which have already concluded. The Regional Finals for the Asia Pacific region will happen in the Philippines on October 26-29. There will be an Open Qualifier where 11 teams will battle on the 26th and 27th. The winner/s will join the 5 invited professional teams in the Regional Finals on the 28th and 29th. The 5 invited professional teams have also been announced and they are:

  • Geeky fam
  • WG Unity
  • Clutch Gamers
  • Mineski
  • TNC Pro Gaming

Two winning teams per game title from all participating regions will advance to the Grand Finals which will happen in Malaysia.

Along with the tournament, the company has also launched the “League of the Republic”, consisting e-sports personalities/idols. One idol has already been announced but the rest will be revealed in the coming days. They have, however, given clues for the unknown personalities who will be a part of the League.

The ASUS ROG Masters is an esports tournament that caters to DotA 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players. The Regional Finals will happen at SM Mall of Asia SMX Hall 1. Admission is FREE for the audience and will have the chance to receive premium items from ASUS. A ROG Strix Hero edition and a ROG Strix Scar edition will also be raffled off.

(Note: Some products have also been introduced but it is not yet available in the Philippines and will be making its first appearance during the event itself.)
