The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the latest ROG Strix G15 and G17 Advantage Edition gaming laptops equipped with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPUs paired with the new AMD Radeon RX 6800M GPUs.
Available in 15-inch (G15) and 17-inch (G17) sizes, the ROG Strix G Advantage Edition laptops feature a 300Hz / 3 ms FHD display panel or a WQHD 165 Hz / 3 ms screen, both of which complete the AMD synergy with FreeSync Premium technology.
It comes with up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage, and an additional M.2 slot.
In addition, the ROG Strix G15 and G17 Advantage Edition gaming laptops feature dual Smart Amp speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos technology. Moreover, to further amplify airflow, Strix G Advantage Edition laptops use the latest version of ROG’s signature self-cleaning cooling system.
Powering the laptops are 90Wh batteries, which ASUS claims to last up to 11.4 hours of video playback, while fast charging gets to 50% in 33 minutes. It supports USB-C charging.
Furthermore, the gaming laptops come with various ports, including the main power jack, HDMI, gigabit Ethernet, USB Type-A, and DisplayPort-enabled USB-C. There are also two more USB ports, along with an audio jack for a headset.
