ASUS ROG has introduced its portable monitor for gamers, that features a 17.3-inch screen size, 240Hz refresh rate, and an optional tripod so you can use it as a traditional monitor, the ROG Strix XG17AHP.
The ROG Strix XG17AHP features a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS display with 3ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate. As mentioned, it’s a portable gaming monitor so it has an ultra-thin design and comes with an optional custom Tripod and Smart Case.
The tripod lets you turn the monitor into a traditional monitor. It has a quick-release mechanism lets you click the Tripod and XG17AHP together. It also folds up in a compact package for easy storage. For the Smart Cover, it also works as a stand to match your laptop’s position and angle.
Other features include a USB Type-C port that serves as a DisplayPort input, a pair of 1W speakers, micro-HDMI 2.0 port, and support for VESA Adaptive-Sync technology which automatically synchronizes the display’s refresh rate with your GPU’s output in a range between 48Hz and 240Hz.
The ROG Strix XG17AHP comes in two packages: one with the Smart Cover alone, and one with the Smart Cover and Tripod together.
