After Intel’s announcement to end Next Unit of Computing (NUC)’s hardware, Asus have successfully made an agreement with Intel to take over.
Intel’s NUC is small PCs with the latest offerings that the company has. As they announce the discontinuation of NUC, Asus has stepped up and offered to take over.
In the Asus store right now, there are seven NUC packages that contain Intel’s 11th, 12th, and 13th generation designs. The NUC 12 Extreme is also seen in the Asus store.
This deal that was made by Asus to Intel is a non-exclusive license. This means that other companies like Acer, HP or MSI may also have NUC items down the line soon.
