AYANEO unveils the AM02, a powerful retro-inspired Mini PC that features a 4-inch touchscreen.
The design of the AM02 takes inspiration from old consoles with ports on the front where controllers are connected to. The Mini PC has a flap on front that you can lift to find two USB-A ports, a USB-C port for modern devices, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Behind the device, it features two ethernet ports, a display port, an HDMI port, two USB-A ports, and another USB-C port for power.
However, what makes the AYANEO AM02 stand out compared to its AM01 predecessor is its Ryzen 7 7840HS processor.
It’s a massive leap in terms of potential performance. The Ryzen 7 7840HS has an octa-core processor with Zen 4 cores that can reach 5.1 GHz and a Radeon 780M iGPU.
In layman’s terms, you could absolutely use the AM02 as your primary home computer. This article also noted that users can expect to comfortably emulate (game titles) all the way up to Nintendo Switch and play many AAA games at moderate settings.
Although pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, AYANEO will begin selling the AM02 on January 18th through Indiegogo 62.
