Beats’ next pair of TWS earbuds, the Studio Buds Plus, has recently surfaced online before Apple could even announce it.
In a now deleted Amazon listing, it revealed that the Studio Buds Plus will be available in a transparent motif, and a release window around May 18.
The pricing is also mentioned, retailing for USD 170 which costs USD 20 more than the vanilla Studio Buds.
Not many technical details were written, though, the listing provided an overview of what to expect.
The Studio Buds Plus is said to have an improved all-around performance with 1.6x more active noise-canceling power, a 2x improved transparency mode, and up to 36 hours of battery life.
The earbuds will also offer enhancements to Android and iPhone features, including automatic device switching, “Hey Siri,” one-touch pairing, and Find My support.
Support for spatial audio, although not for movies since the product won’t support head-tracking feature that is present on Beats Fit Pro, AirPods 3, AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max.
The wearables will have three larger microphones, new venting, and a powerful processor—which is a custom Beats chip instead of Apple’s H1 or H2 chips.
Additionally, the earbuds will have a voice-targeting algorithm that filters background noise for clear call performance.
Comparing its price to the vanilla Beats Studio Buds which retails for Php 8,990, we can expect the Studio Buds Plus’ price to increase as well (at least by a thousand peso).
We should know more details soon. Stay tuned!
