PICO, a VR company under ByteDance’s umbrella, the same parent company of TikTok, has announced the new PICO 4 Ultra virtual reality headset.
It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor configured with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has a pair of 2.56-inch LCD screens sporting a resolution of 2160 x 2160 pixels each and with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
It gets a significant price increase from the standard PICO 4, but it’s still relatively cheaper than Apple Vision Pro’s starting price. For starters, the PICO 4 Ultra starts at GBP 339 (~Php25.1K) in Europe. The latter is priced at a staggering GBP 3,499.
In the UK, the PICO 4 Ultra starts at GBP 339 for the headset only and 128GB configuration. The 256GB option goes for GBP 409.
