Changan CS75 Plus SUV now available in PH, priced

Changan Motor Philippines Inc. has recently announced the availability of its newest 5-seater compact SUV, the CS75 Plus.

The CS75 Plus is dubbed as Changan’s “intelligent SUV” and recently received the Supreme Gold Award at the 2019-2020 International CMF Design Awards in China. The latest iteration of the CS75 Plus sports the sporty legacy of its predecessor and Changan’s latest modeling and design language.

The 5-seater compact SUV is powered by a turbocharged 1.5L gasoline engine with direct injection mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission system with a maximum power of 178ps and maximum torque of 265Nm. It comes with various features, including the Drive Mode function that lets users choose their driving style, whether Eco, Normal, or Sport. Additionally, starting the engine requires no effort with its Engine Push Start/Stop Button, while the Engine Remote Start function allows users to turn on the engine and air conditioning from the outside.

It boasts its sinewy exterior and body paint technique combined with a special aluminum powder and subtle pearlescent finish. It comes with a long wheelbase at 2,710mm and a wide exterior of 1,865mm. Moreover, it comes equipped with LED headlamps with Daytime Running Lights upfront, LED tail lamps at the back, bold 18-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic sunroof.

For the interior, the vehicle flaunts plush Nappa grain leather seats, flaunting the red-black classic sports vibe inspired by the racing tradition of Nürburgring. The CS75 Plus has a 7-inch digital instrument cluster that users may personalize based on their preference. It also has a 12-inch Touchscreen Multimedia System for infotainment with AM/FM radio, audio and video playback, and mobile phone connectivity via the built-in Easy Connection app. Moreover, the touchscreen gives live image feed from the 360-degree panoramic camera, which comes in handy for safe parking, turning, and backing up.

The compact SUV’s automatic air-conditioning system has been installed with a certified PM0.1 grade compound anti-bacterial and anti-viral air filter that achieves 97.7% filtration of 0.3-micron particles, providing the entire vehicle with the same safety level as the N95 mask.

On the other hand, the CS75 Plus’ safety features include the 6-airbag system, Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Control (HHC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Electronic Parking Brake, a 360° Panoramic Camera, and even a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The CS75 Plus 1.5L 6AT variant comes with an introductory price of PHP 1,299,000, and it is available in White, Gray, Black, and Blue. Changan vehicles come with the standard 5-year/150,000-kilometer warranty and free Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) labor for the first year (or up to 20,000 kilometers).
