Oppo has officially introduced its latest iteration, the ColorOS 14 based on Android 14.
The announcement brings a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming upgrade and reveals the rollout schedule for supported Oppo devices.
Oppo has been rolling out its Beta version of ColorOS 14 in selected regions since October 2023. As for its Stable Global version, it will first come to Find N2 Flip in mid-November.
Optimized Aquamorphic Design. The ‘Aquamorphic’ design from previous iteration stays in ColorOS 14.
This includes new sound effects, color systems, and interactions that make the smartphone experience more harmonious and comfortable.
AI-powered Smart Features. ColorOS 14 now integrates AI-powered smart features for better efficiency on daily tasks.
These features include AI-powered Smart Touch, File Dock, and Smart Image Matting.
Ultra-smooth Performance. Trinity Engine in gets upgraded in ColorOS 14. The said engine enhances the phone’s smoothness and stability through efficient management of computing resources, memory, and storage.
The three key features of Trinity Engine include ROM Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, and CPU Vitalization.
Easy-to-use Tool for Safety and Privacy. ColorOS 14 has a new privacy feature called as the Picture Keeper. This feature prevents apps from misusing permissions especially on users’ personal photos or videos.
Oppo also shared a rollout timeline for ColorOS 14 Global Beta version. The brand notes that the Stable version “will be fine-tuned based on the feedback from this Beta version and will be released after meeting our software standards.”
Hence, the list below only tells the compatible Oppo devices rather than the actual release timeline for said devices running stable OS. This initial list of compatible devices is subject to change and does not include carrier-exclusive devices, per Oppo.
