The Department of Transportation has announced that the government and private sector are now working together to complete the Common Station structure which is slated to start by December 2017.
The Common Station will interconnect the three rail lines – the MRT 3, LRT 1, and the soon-to-be-constructed MRT 7. The project originally cost Php2.6 billion but since it has doubled in size in the new location (between SM and Trinoma Malls) to cater to more people, the cost has also increased to Php2.8 billion.
The project was started in 2009 but was delayed due to location issues. With the construction targeted to start by December 2017, it is expected to be completed by April 2019.

Pi ahirapan tayo ng ayala since 09 from lrt to mrt samantalang dapat tapos na to dati pa. Boycott Ayala malls dami dami namang malls dyan eh
