Dell Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme Tablet launched

Dell has launched a new tablet called the Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme. The tablet is designed for field users in various environments.

The Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme measures at 12.29-inches, with a display size of 11.6-inches and an FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution, an 8GB/16GB RAM, and up to 2TB SSD storage. It’s powered by an up to 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and has a number of connections, such as Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and access to FirstNet, AT&T’s First Responder Network Authority.

Other features include an optional dual battery, glove-capable multi-touch functionality, built-in infrared camera with Window Hello, an optional resource USB DVD, optional CD/DVD drives, 5MP front + 8MP rear cameras, and dual microphones. The device also has a DC-in, Mini Serial port, USB-C, USB-A, microSD card slot, a fan exhaust, and a Kensington lock slot. The tablet also has an IP-65 rating and runs on Windows 10 Pro as its operating system.

The Dell Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme Tablet is now available for purchase in the US and is priced at USD 1,899.
