DJI will ship its newly-unveiled foldable 4K camera drone, the DJI Mini 2, to the Philippines.
The DJI Mini 2 sports a folding design, OcuSync 2.0 transmission technology for optimized connection between the drone and the remote control, and dual-frequency technology to prevent interference when switching channels. It has a 1/2.3-inch sensor for capturing 12MP images, 4X Zoom, and 4K video recording at 30fps as fast as 100 Mbps. Weighing at just 249 grams, it is equipped with various modes for image and panorama to capture subjects in different scenarios.
The foldable drone is also geared with a 3-axis gimbal, 4K camera, high-grade positioning and vision sensors, pre-programmed movements, and image capture modes named QuickShots. It can endure strong winds up to 24mph, a maximum flight time of up to 31 minutes, a maximum transmission range of up to 10 km, and a maximum altitude up to 4,000 meters.
Additionally, the device is compatible with the DJI Fly app and can be connected to a mobile device without the remote control. Users may also share footages and download images at a high-speed rate of 20 MB/s to any connected device. It has 360-degrees propeller guards, DJI Mini Bag+, charging display case, snap adapter, and a DIY creative kit for the accessories.
The DJI Mini 2 (DJI Mini 2, remote controller, and one battery) comes with a price tag of PHP 21,990. However, the DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo package (DJI Mini 2, remote controller, three batteries, charging hub, and carrying case) retails at PHP 28,990.
It will be available in the country starting November 20. You may visit the Facebook page of DJI Authorised Distributor Philippines for more information.
