The Department of Health (DOH), on August 19, 2021, has posted a re-bid for the procurement of laptops and desktops with a total approved budget contract of PHP 1,785,886.

The previously posted bid (IB NO. 2021-199) on May 29, 2021, aims to procure 25 desktop computers and 11 laptops, with a total approved budget contract of PHP 1,814,800:

Additional Requirements:
1. Warranty Certificate;
2. Certificate of After Sales Service and Parts;
3. After support within one (1) Year /Certification whichever is applicable;
4. The Bidder shall submit any of the following:
a. If the bidder is the manufacturer, certify that the bidder manufacturer the products/items; or
b. If the bidder is an Exclusive /Authorized Distributor or Dealer of the products/items, Certificate or Contract from the manufacturer must be provided as proof that the bidder is an Exclusive /Authorized Distributor or Dealer of the products/items; or
c. If the bidder is an agent of the exclusive distributor or dealer, the following must be provided;
i. Certificate or Distributor /Dealership Agreement by the Manufacturer with the distributor or dealer; and
ii. Contract between the distributor/dealer and the bidder
5. Original Brochure or download from the internet and other manufacturer’s un-amended sales literature, unconditional statements of the specifications and compliance issued by the manufacturer, samples, independent test data etc., as appropriate for cross referencing statement of the compliance to what is indicated in the 2nd page of Section VII: Technical Specifications of the Bidding Documents;
6. Certification that this product should still be available in the market for the next three (3) years;and
7. Sworn Statement using the prescribed form
Based on the new bid, the DOH is willing to spend PHP 60,638 per desktop PC, and PHP 68,640 per laptop.
