Electronic Arts and Valve have announced that they will be partnering together to bring EA games into the Steam Store.
To start their partnership, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is available for preorder now on Steam and will launch on November 15, will be the first EA game available on Steam. In the following months, games like Sims 4, Unravel, Apex Legends, FIFA 20, and Battlefield V will also be available on Steam.
Players from Steam and Origin will also be able to crossplay with each other, though there’s no word yet whether or not player progression will be kept. EA Access, EA’s subscription service, will also be coming to Steam as the first gaming subscription service on the platform.
