Ubisoft and Netflix partner to bring new animated series to the streaming service, namely Far Cry, Splinter Cell, and Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.
Far Cry will be based on the popular series of the same name, which will see its latest entry, Far Cry 6, coming on October 7. Far Cry is known as a franchise of first-person shooter games, all of which have been published by Ubisoft.
On the other hand, Splinter Cell will be launching as an eight-episode series. Derek Kolstad, the creator of the John Wick franchise, is onboard to write the series. Besides, the series will be produced by Sun Creature and Fost.
Along with these two series, Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix will also premiere with a six-episode season with Adi Shankar as creator and executive producer. This series is an original anime starring alter egos of Ubisoft characters in a deep homage to the early 90s. The show will be produced by animation studio Bobbypills.
