Freelancer.com reveals fast-moving online jobs in the Philippines

Freelancer.com, a crowd-sourcing freelance marketplace website, recently unveiled the fastest growing online jobs in 2018.

The website charts the latest top 50 fastest and declining jobs in their Fast 50 report. It also serves as a year-in-review of the jobs that dominated yearly. According to the analysis, online content creation dominated the job postings in the first and final quarters of 2018. Freelancer.com’s marketplace saw a surge in job postings looking for skills in writing, designing, and animation. Apart from content creation, the category of web development also rose in trends.

Freelancer.com highlighted the top 5 job types among Filipino freelancers namely:

• Data entry
• PHP (Hypertext processor)
• Graphic Design
• Excel
• Photoshop

The demand for Writing skills globally reached 537.5% among the website’s community, with Academic Writing, Blog Writing, and SEO Writing being a part in that skill category. 2D Animation saw an increase of 167.6% demand, occupying a spot in the top five. Also included in the top list are Blockchain, Drawing, Social Media Management, Shopify Templates, Express JS, and API.
