GCash has partnered with Visa to launch the GCash Card. This allows Filipinos to have another method of cashless payment for their everyday expenses such as groceries, transportation, and so on.
With Visa’s global reach, one of the key characteristics is that the card may be used to make international purchases at more than 100 million merchant locations and in more than 200 countries and territories.
This allows users and overseas Filipinos traveling with the GCash Card with another safe and practical means to make payments abroad, including at restaurants, hotels, retail stores, convenience stores, ride-hailing services, and other businesses that take Visa.
To avail for the GCash Card, users need to head to their GCash app and tap View All. From there, select Cards and then the Order GCash Card option. Tap the Order a Card and select your delivery method afterwards. Once you’ve reviewed the card details, users then need to fill out the required information and pay the delivery fee and card fee amount.
