Globe 5G data traffic grows 27 times in 2021

Globe 5G data noted a 27 times increase in monthly data traffic with the National Capital Region (NCR), Cebu, and Davao del Sur providing the highest data traffic nationwide.

With 5G technology offering faster mobile connectivity and download speeds compared to 4G, Globe claims to have reached 96% of NCR and 84% of key VisMin cities when it comes to 5G coverage. According to reports from Opensignal titled, “5G Global Mobile Network Experience Awards 2021,” Globe came in at the top 30 operators globally for 5G Global impact. Globe users within the 5G network and with capable devices have noted an improvement of mobile experience versus 4G across Download Speed, Upload Speed, Games Experience, and Video Experience.
