Globe is giving away freebies with their unlimited internet plans, and have discontinued their most affordable Globe At Home Unli Plan 1299.
Those applying for Globe’s At Home Unli Plan 1899 will now receive a free Android TV Box, while those applying for the At Home Unli Plan 2499 and above will receive two TP-Link WiFi Mesh for free. Meanwhile, Globe is doubling the speeds of its Globe At Home Unli Plan 1699, now capable of reaching up to 20Mbps.
Additionally, Globe is no longer offering the Globe At Home Unli Plan 1299. Instead, they’re offering the new Globe at Home Plan 1299, which gives users up to 10Mbps speeds, but with a 500GB data cap per month.

Pano mag pa upgrade globe plan 1299/400gb to 1299/500gb wala sa globe app ang update. Wala din maka usap sa customer service nila.

@Eildriz kaya nga po e. It’s actually a disadvantage for us in the province. They’re not really that open to infrastructure upgrades here than the city or any progressive places. It’s quite disappointing. However, PLDT is laying out its Fibr line so I guess I am left without any choice but to switch. :)

Hay naku globe.. huwag kayo magpakabit ng globe umpisa lang mabilis pagtagal mabagal na..until now tiis nalang ako hanggang matapos ang kontrata i am very disappointed with globe. Connection speed ko dapat 10Mbps pero actual ko ay 1 hanngang 3 Mbps lang .

Wag na kayo magpauto sa Globe. Kami na matagal na subscriber nila di nila inupdate ang speed ng Globe DSL Plan namin. Lumipat nlng kami sa PLDT Home Fiber ,mura na malakas pa.

@Jan, There is nothing you can do really. The plans mentioned in this article are for wired (Fiber) users only. Although Globe does offer P1699 20Mbps 600GB for wireless broadband subscribers but that depends on the area.

Bad Globe broadband management. Kung ako may ari or CEO, tatanggalin ko tlga namamahala jan. Since 2010, yung moves nila sa broadband segment parang monopoly at number 1. Pero kung number 2 ka marketshare, you dont do these moves. Parang walang business subject sa school yung broadband management nila. Ako nga isa lang lang na business subject but tinuro nila ying mga yan. Tapos yung home fiber nila very limited coverage. Tinalo pa sila ng small ISP katulad ng converge. Yung PLDT samin nakita ko lang kanina naglalatag ng another FIBLE cable sa area namin. That’s their second fiber cable ha. Yung GLOBE copper/dsl parin nilalatag dito. Ok lang sana kung rural area ito. Eh ang problema major city ito. Hayz Bad management tlga or may anumalya jan sa department na yan. Nagkalat kasi mga Globe huawei modem sa market na binebenta ng mga non globe employees.

How about those subscribers who are on to their now-grandfathered broadband plans? Right now, I am with Globe and currently availing their Plan 1599 with 400GB for 10Mbps plan. I would really love to upgrade to a higher speed, however, I am already limited to a maximum speed of 10 Mbps as per area limitations due to problems with the connections or wires still not upgraded to Fibr. What options do we have?
