Throughout the first nine months of the year, Globe has upgraded 5,395 mobile sites to LTE and built 833 new cell sites, further improving the nation’s digital infrastructure. This seeks to provide nationwide coverage and connectivity.
Numerous Filipinos now have access to high-speed internet thanks to the company’s network construction initiatives, which have been essential in enhancing the customer experience.
According to Ookla® Speedtest Intelligence® statistics, the company’s commitment to service improvement has earned it the renowned title of “Most Consistent Fixed Broadband Provider” in 33 towns and cities and two provinces for the third quarter of 2023. Globe received this recognition in the preceding quarter, during which it held the lead in 31 locations.
Additionally, Globe has announced significant improvements in upload and download speeds in 19 strategic locations during the third quarter of this year.
“As we strengthen our infrastructure with new cell sites and LTE upgrades, we’re helping accelerate digitalization. Our relentless builds are a clear indication of our dedication to service excellence. At Globe, we believe in harnessing technology to create opportunities and drive inclusive growth, empowering communities across the Philippines to reach their full potential,” said Chief Customer Experience Officer of Globe Beck Eclipse.
As part of its current strategy to minimize capital expenditure (CAPEX) this year, Globe is making the most of its present fiber inventory. As of September 2023, the company has invested PHP 54 billion in capital expenditures (CAPEX), of which 91% was set aside to satisfy data requirements, ensuring users always have access to the best digital solutions and connections.

Wala man lang improvement at lalong bumagal ang speed ng LTE and even your 5G signal niyo dito sa Baguio. Lalo na pag pag peak season sa SM Baguio, Session Road, hindi mo na mabuksan ang GCASH, IG, FB sa soooobrang bagal. Importante pa man din yung GCASH at mostly yun na ang gamit ko pambayad.
