Globe has now introduced Gadget Xchange which lets users either switch or replace their existing device with an identical or similar model, or different brand, color, and model with ‘no-questions asked’.
Moreover, under the program, consumers can avail of a complimentary screen replacement if repair is needed.
The service is open to all Globe Postpaid customers including Globe Platinum customers as an add-on to their Globe Postpaid Plan 52 with its monthly fee depending on the SRP of the device of their choice.
Users who do avail of Gadget Xchange can avail of 2 device switches/replacements and 1 screen repair every 12 months.
Users can file a request 273 online to either switch or replace their device or have its screen replaced with service fees varying.
Some things to note include that Globe will not allow users to upgrade to a newer generation or to a device with higher specs as they only allow devices within the same generation and price range.
Globe did also note under their FAQs 172, that Gadget Xchange devices will be ‘like-new’ devices, meaning that the device may be refurbished, not provided in the original packaging, not include device accessories, and be provided with a ‘Not for Resale’ packaging.
To know more about it, be sure to know and read the terms and conditions that Globe specifies for Gadget Xchange 430 and visit the Globe Gadget Xchange FAQ 504 page or their Submit a Request 100 page with FAQs as well.
