Globe to offer Php1/minute all-net call promos

Globe Telecom has announced that it will offer Php1/minute all-net call promos for its postpaid, prepaid, and TM customers.

Globe says that the Php1/minute all-net call promo is a result of the lowered voice interconnect access charges across telcos.

Before the promo, Globe’s call charges to other networks, whether mobile or landline, is at Php7.50/minute, while Globe to Globe/TM regular call rate is at Php6.50/minute. Regular calls from TM to Globe/TM is at Php5.50/minute and calls to other networks (including landline) is at Php6.50/minute.

Globe postpaid customers with Plan 2499 and up may choose to avail of a Php299 tack-on that will give them 300-minute calls to all networks.

Globe Prepaid subscribers, on the other hand, may avail of GoCall50 which gives 50 minutes of calls to all networks, good for 3 days.

As for TM customers, they may add Php5 to any existing call and text promo for 5 minutes of calls to any network, good for 1 day.

With the new promos, Globe expects call traffic to further increase in 2017, after reaching 69.1 billion minutes in 2016 – an 18% rise from 2015.

I called globe customer service hotline and the CSRs were not aware about this and the promo does not appear on their system.

  4. Mel says:

Or better yet, use a dual-SIM phone and sign up for Sun’s plan 299 which includes unlimited calls/texts to Smart/Sun/TNT, giving you unlimited calls to and from both networks for the same P299 additional per month

  5. bern says:

Wow, interconnection of 1 peso, it will no longer set you back with a large bill, but why not make it permanent and why there is a discrimination to other post-paid subscribers whose plan is below 2499, because I’m one of them, and I know what they feel for being out of the loop, and are there any options for us?

Come on Globe, you are racking up a huge profit from us for a long time, and I think it is high time to reciprocate us with something fair.

  6. Dhan says:

So where’s the info on when it will be implemented? And for how long? What’s the steps to activate or use this “promo”.

A lot of useless paragraphs and 1 clickbait article.

It’s already mentioned there if you learn to read and understand. Tack-on is an add on service that you avail from globe. Call them to have it activated with your plan once this promo has been officially launch.

  8. Wat says:

Promo? How about making it permanent.

  9. trapik says:
