Google just recently rebranded their AI model from Bard to Gemini, but they haven’t stopped there.
Gemini is working to replace Google Assistant on Android and iOS, with the latest report revealing its moving on to headphones soon.
After examining various lines of code within a beta version of the Google app (v15.6), it contained this message:
Gemini for headphones are expected to bring AI-powered responses to users. We’ll look into how Google will optimize this feature, notably in concerns for response length. But for now, we’re imagining a world where Gemini is somehow integrated in future versions of the Google Pixel Buds.
But do keep in mind, Google may or may not ship these features. However, with our story of Bard becoming Gemini just recently these reports may have more exposure over time. Either way, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on further development on this story.
