Google has announced a new member of their smart devices for the home that is equipped with a display, the Google Home Hub.
The Google Home Hub comes in four different colors and features a floating display so Google Assistant can provide users with information in a more visual way. It features Ambient EQ which uses a dedicated sensor combined with imaging algorithm so the display can automatically adjust based on ambient lighting.
It is still powered by Google Assistant and uses Voice Match to recognize the user’s voice and create a personalized the response based on that user, which is handy if there are multiple people using the Hub.
It works with existing Google apps like Calendar, Photos, and YouTube. It’s compatible to work with Nest devices and other smart home products via its Home View feature.
