Google unveils the new Pixel 9 Series

After months of leak frenzy, Google today officially unveiled its latest Pixel 9 Series.

Google Pixel 9 Fi

The lineup comprises the vanilla Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro and its XL variant. Also joining the series is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which we’ll cover in another article.

All models feature the Google Tensor G4 chipset built on a 4-nm process and paired with a Titan M2 security coprocessor.

Other key highlights include support for Emergency SOS via satellite connectivity and Google’s promise of up to seven major OS upgrades.

For durability, all models except the foldable have IP68 dust and water resistance, and their displays are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Avatar for JM Chavaria

JM's highest stat is probably his curious ardor to anything tech—electronics and gaming in particular. He certainly heeds utmost regard to specsheet, visuals, and rule of thirds. If creativity and wit sometimes leave JM's system, watching films, anime and a good stroll for memes are his approved therapeutic claims.
