Google to bring Android games to Windows PCs in 2022

Google is bringing Android gaming to the PC in 2022. The company announced this development during The Game Awards 2021.

Google Play Games is coming to Windows, and PC players will be able to play on mobile and access their games as well and continue on their PC, laptops, and tablets.

“Starting in 2022, players will be able to experience their favorite Google Play games on more devices: seamlessly switching between a phone, tablet, Chromebook, and soon, Windows PCs,” says Greg Hartrell, Google’s product director of games on Android and Google Play.

According to the company, it will be a native Windows app distributed by Google. This development comes after Microsoft announced that Android apps will run on Windows PCs.
