GoPro HERO, GoPro HERO13 BLACK priced in the Philippines

The GoPro HERO 13 and GoPro HERO13 BLACK 11 have been launched and priced in the Philippines. These are a couple of the brand’s most powerful cameras to date, promising new features to complement the GoPro experience.

The GoPro HERO is their smallest 4K camera to date. It weighs only 86 grams and is waterproof for up to 5 meters, coming with a touch screen as well.

Plus, the device features one-button control, support for 2x slo-mo, 12-megapixel photos, and 2.7K recording at 60fps. Users can even take 8K photos from 4K video recordings via the Quik app.

GoPro notes that this small device can last up to a hundred (100) minutes capturing video at its highest setting. This is achievable on a single charge.

The GoPro HERO is priced at PHP 13,990, and will be available in the Philippines on September 23, 2024.

Moving on, we have the GoPro HERO13 BLACK. As one of the brand’s latest camera action flagship devices, it offers up to 5.3K video at 60fps.

It features HyperSmooth stabilization, and supports up to 13x Burst slo-mo. Slo-mo is supported for up to 400fps at 720p, 120fps at 5.3K, and 360fps at 900p. The device also supports 10-bit color and the Rec.2100 color space with a wider color gamut than HDR.

Audio-wise, users can choose between a balanced sound stage or a voice setting that enhances vocal clarity. This can be done while still preserving ambient background sounds.

Connectivity includes support for Wi-Fi 6, promising up to 40% faster transfers. The device can also track speed, path, terrain, altitude, G-force, and provides assistance in geotagging in third-party media management apps.

The GoPro HERO BLACK13 also packs a 1,900mAh battery, which is a 10% improvement compared to its predecessors. GoPro claims it offers 1.5 hours of continuous recording at 4K at 30fps and 5.3K at 30fps. The device can even record for 2.5 hours straight at 1080p at 30fps.

Lastly, it comes with built-in mounting fingers and 1/4-20 mounting threads. This enables users to mount the camera in three different ways.

The GoPro HERO13 BLACK is priced at PHP 25,990 for the standalone camera. The GoPro HERO13 BLACK Creator Edition is also available for PHP 38,990. This model comes with a Volta Power Grip, Media Mod, and Light Mod.

The GoPro HERO13 BLACK models will be available on September 11, 2024.
