In partnership with the City Government of Makati, Grab Philippines announced the launch of the Grab – Makati Vaccination Center to inoculate up to 7,000 economic frontliners starting today, September 1.
The Grab – Makati Vaccination Center aims to provide an additional channel for economic frontliners to get vaccinated.
The center is located in Wilcon IT Hub in Chino Roces Makati, which will operate from Monday to Saturday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and can vaccinate up to 400 economic frontliners per day.
The Grab – Makati Vaccination Center will strictly cater to all vaccinees who have received their official confirmation from the City Government of Makati. To register for a scheduled vaccination in Grab-Makati Vaccination Center, head over to this link.
The Makati City Government has equipped the Grab – Makati Vaccination Center with 14,000 vaccines, while AC Health will be administering the vaccination onsite.
Other than the vaccination center, Grab Philippines has also teamed up with the Department of Transportation (DOTR) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on several ongoing efforts in encouraging more Filipinos to get inoculated.
Part of this is Vacc To Normal, a campaign encouraging Grab drivers and delivery-partners to get inoculated through special raffle prizes, rewards, COVID vaccination insurance, as well as vaccination education initiatives ranging from weekly stories featuring testimonials from vaccinated drivers and delivery partners, weekly digests of BakunaFacts from DOH official resources, and live stream discussions with healthcare experts and local government units.
Furthermore, Grab Philippines also launched Vacced Ka Na Ba? – a nationwide initiative that rewards vaccinated individuals with Grab promo vouchers every time they submit their vaccination cards via the Grab app. In addition, vaccinated individuals can also get a chance to win up to PHP 250,000 in their GrabPay accounts.
Lastly, Grab Philippines provides mobility solutions for individuals going to and from various vaccination facilities through GrabCar Bayanihan, a dedicated fleet composed of vaccinated driver-partners with discounted fares than regular GrabCar rides in Metro Manila. Grab Philippines has also expanded GrabCar Bayanihan in Cebu, Pampanga, and Bacolod.
