Supergiant Games has announced that their rogue-like dungeon crawler game, Hades, is coming to Xbox and PlayStation platforms on August 13.
Players take control of Zagreus, the son of Hades, in an attempt to escape from the Underworld to reach Mount Olympus. The game is presented in an isometric view as the player fights their way through a number of pre-determined rooms in a random sequence. The game uses a hack-and-slash combat system that consists of a primary weapon, a special attack, and a magic cast. Check out its gameplay below.
According to Supergiant Games, Game Pass subscribers will have immediate access to the game on August 13. In addition to the digital editions, Supergiant states that physical editions published by Private Division will be available. The Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions will be on a single disk, while the PS4 and PS5 will be sold separately. Moreover, the new boxed versions of Hades will include a complimentary download code for the Hades Original Soundtrack and a 32-page full-colored compendium.
Hades is priced at USD 24.99, and is available to pre-order on the PlayStation and Xbox store.
