Hisense has just launched the Hi Reader Pro, an all-new smartphone with an e-ink display.
The Hi Reader Pro features a 6.1-inch pure e-ink display, which is designed to mimic the look and feel of paper. This is perfect for those who want to read in well-lit or bright environments, without straining their eyes.
The Hi Reader Pro has 36 levels of cold and warm light for its screen and comes with a respectable 300 pixels per inch.
Powering the Hi Reader Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, 4GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage — which is a decent SoC and storage package for the target use case of the Hi Reader Pro.
The Reader Pro will also come with a 4,000 mAh battery, which, with the combination of the e-ink display, can probably guarantee more than a day or more of use without a charge.
The Hisense Hi Reader Pro is now available 15 in China for RMB 1,699 or around Php 13,755.
As of writing, there has been no word of a Philippines release for the Hi Reader Pro.
