HMD announced three new feature phones today,a refresh of the old classics we’re all familiar with — the Nokia 6310 (2024), 5310 (2024), and 230 (2024).
The Nokia 6310 (2024) was re-introduced in 2021 (originally released in 1998) with an almost similar look, but this time, the battery was bigger, at 1,450mAh, and a USB-C port was also used.
Nokia 5310 (2024) was refreshed by HMD in 2020 and is known for its MP3 player, FM tuner, and Bluetooth features. It’s part of the popular XpressMusic line, originally introduced in 2007. The 20204 version is slightly bigger than its predecessor, with a bigger screen (2.8-inch), bigger battery (1,450mAh), and new UNISOC chip.
Lastly, the Nokia 230 (2024) is also a refresh from 2015 with a 2.8” TFT screen. It now has a bigger 1,450mAh battery a UNISOC chip that features Bluetooth 5.0 and the USB-C port.
All these three feature phones should be arriving in the Philippines soon with almost the same price points as their predecessors.
