Honda has officially launched the all-new 11th generation Honda Civic in the Philippines. The arrival of the popular sedan features a new look and high-tech features plus a standard VTEC turbo engine.
The Civic is now longer by 9mm and its wheelbase is longer as well by 37mm compared to its predecessor. Upfront, it has a pair of newly shaped headlights that either houses full LEDs or projector halogens. Daytime running lights are made standard across the model range. Optional LED fog lights are also available for the V Turbo CVT Honda SENSING and the RS Turbo CVT Honda SENSING.
The new Civic comes with either 16-inch rims on the S variant, and 17-inch alloy rims on the V variant, and 18-inch matte black wheels on the RS.
The sedan comes with either a 7-inch or a 9-inch touchscreen display that is compatible with Apple Carplay or Android Auto. It is powered by 4 to 8 speakers depending on the variant. The RS variant comes with a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
Other standard convenience features include automatic climate control, and dual-zone climate control exclusive on the RS variant.
The 11th generation Civic is powered by a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder DOHC VTEC Turbo engine. The engine can produce 178 PS and 240Nm of torque that is paired to a Continuously Variable Transmission.
Standard safety features are also included in the package including Speed Sensing Door Locks, Multi-View Reverse Camera, and Keyless Entry System. Side Curtain Airbags, Honda LaneWatch Camera, and the Walk Away Auto Door Lock function are exclusive to the RS variant.
The 11th generation Civic is now available at all 37 Honda Cars dealerships nationwide and comes in 5 colors, Morning Mist Blue Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Ignite Red Metallic Platinum White Pearl, and Lunar Silver Metallic.
The all-new Honda Civic is priced at PHP 1,290,000 for the S variant, PHP 1,498,000 for the V variant, and PHP 1,690,000 for the RS variant.
