Honor’s new 5G capable mid-ranger, the Honor 30S, is now official.
The Honor 30s will be the first phone to feature Kirin’s latest dual-mode 5G capable mid-range chipset, the Kirin 820. According to an Antutu listing, the Kirin 820 scored 375,270 points, which is higher than what Snapdragon 765 phones can manage and is on par with the Kirin 980.
Besides the Kirin 820 chipset, the Honor 30s will also feature a 6.5-inch IPS display, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. It runs on Magic UI 3.1.1 based on Android 10 out of the box, and sports a 4,000mAh battery with 40W charging support.
The Honor 30S is available for preorders in TMall for CNY 2,399 (or around PHP 17,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and CNY 2,699 (or around PHP 19,500) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Official sales are scheduled for April 7.
