Honor has officially announced two significant events scheduled to take place in China in the coming weeks. The company is preparing to introduce MagicOS 9.0, its version of Android 15, on October 23. This new interface will debut alongside the launch of the Honor Magic7 flagship phones on October 30.
MagicOS 9.0 is set to bring a range of new AI features, including an AI Agent, an always-on personal assistant designed to compete with Apple Intelligence and Google Gemini.
The upcoming Magic7 phones are expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. However, it is also possible that Honor may utilize the Dimensity 9400 platform for the standard phone. With weeks remaining until the series is launched, further details on the specifications and features are eagerly anticipated.
Meanwhile, leaked hardware specifications of the HONOR Magic7 Pro suggest a premium device. Anticipated features include a 6.82-inch 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Kunlun Glass protection, and a triple rear-facing camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. There are also rumors of a third 50-megapixel or 200-megapixel sensor, potentially offering impressive zoom capabilities.
