As mentioned last week, the HONOR Magic7 Pro has been unveiled with a ton of hardware upgrades. This device is part of HONOR’s second flagship launch this year after the Magic6 Series’ arrival last January.
The phone has a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate that caps at 120Hz. Interestingly, the display isn’t flat, but is deemed “micro quad-curved”.
This device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, giving it a ton of power for AI-relative tasks. This includes digital inquiries, assistance, and even post-processing for photography.
Speaking of, the device has a telephoto camera upgrade. While the Magic6 Pro’s 180-megapixel shooter was impressive as is, this device now offers a 200-megapixel telephoto camera. This sensor sits behind a 60mm lens and offers 2.5x-100x digital zoom.
However, it essentially has the same 50-megapixel main camera with variable aperture and 50-megapixel ultra wide camera. At the front, it has a 50-megapixel shooter with a wide 90-degree lens.
For biometrics, it has a 3D face scanner and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Notably, the former can work in the dark with an IR illuminator. The phone has an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance as well.
Rounding off the specs, it packs a slightly bigger 5,850mAh battery. It even has faster charging speeds, offering 100W for wired charging via USB Type-C and 80W of wireless charging.
The HONOR Magic7 Pro is priced at CNY 5,700 (~PHP 46.6K) with 12GB/256GB. It’s also available for CNY 6,200 (~PHP 50.6K) with 16GB/512GB and CNY 6,700 (~PHP 54.7K) with 16GB/1TB.
