HONOR MagicPad 2, HONOR MagicBook Art 14 launched globally

The HONOR MagicPad 2 and HONOR MagicBook Art 14 was launched globally with the HONOR Magic V3 at IFA 2024.

The HONOR MagicPad 2 is a premium tablet that has a 12.3-inch IMAX Enhanced OLED display. It has a refresh rate of 144Hz, 3K resolution, and 1,600 nits of peak brightness.

The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, coming with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 9-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash.

It carries a large 10,050mAh battery that supports 66W of wired fast charging and 5W of reverse wired charging. It’s skinned with MagicOS 8.0.1 based on Android 14 out of the box as well.

Other features include Wi-Fi 6, eight (8) stereo speakers, three (3) microphones, and AI-powered integrations.

The differences with the Chinese and Global variants of the MagicPad lie mainly in storage configurations. Plus, the Blue colorway is exclusive to China. The HONOR MagicPad2 has an SRP of EUR 499 (~PHP 31,000), available in Black and White colorways.

Next, we have the feature-packed HONOR MagicBook Art 14 12. This laptop has a 14.6-inch OLED touchscreen with a 3K resolution and support from Intel Arc Graphics.

Plus, it comes with a magnetic camera that stays hidden on the side of the device when unused. Users can pull this out and attach it to the top of the device for video calls and the like.

Users can also flip the device 180-degrees, enabling the laptop to see in front of you. This is handy for livestreams, meetings, etc. For audio, the laptop is equipped with six speakers with spatial audio and a DTS:X certification.

The device runs on Windows 11 with Copilot. CPU options include variants with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125G and Intel Core Ultra 7 155H. The MagicBook comes with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

Connectivity options consist of HDMI, USB Type-A, Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. Users may also pair, screen mirror, and transfer files with other HONOR devices seamlessly.

Lastly, it packs a 60Wh battery that’s slated for up to 11 hours of video playback. It’s also good for 9.5 hours of office work daily. HONOR claims that its OS Turbo 3.0 is key to its consistent battery life.

The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 retails for MYR 5,999 (~PHP 77,000) as seen on HONOR Malaysia’s website. Details on pricing and availability for the Philippines are still under wraps, but stay tuned!
