Honor first introduced its HONOR V Purse at the IFA 2023 as a concept device. It is an outward foldable that doubles as a purse—at least how it looks like. Apparently, the brand changed its mind and released it to the public, nonetheless.
It is now currently on limited pre-sale in China and will ship on September 26th.
In addition to its official release, we also get to see its key specifications and features, apart from its physical aesthetics.
Outward display spans at 7.71-inch and uses flexible OLED panel. When folded, it leaves 6.45-inch display.
Under the hood it equips the Snapdragon 778G. Configured with 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
For the cameras, it sports a 50-megapixel main and 12-megapixel ultrawide lenses. While the front camera, housed in the upper-right corner has 8-megapixels.
It packs a 4,500mAh battery and charges 35W. Software-wise, it runs Android 13, skinned with MagicOS 7.2.
As we previously reported, the device’s quirk allows users to attach a chain or a strap and carry it like a stylish purse. With its display wrapping around the device, users can customize its appearance with a range of Always-On Display styles, to match different OOTD.
