Honor officially announced through their website that they will be launching the newest X series lineup of devices by March 29, 2022. The Honor X8 has officially been announced a week prior, but no details have been revealed on the Honor X7 and X9 5G until now.
Honor held a private media launch in the UAE announcing the Honor X series explicitly showing the designs and detailed specifications of the Honor X7, Honor X8, and Honor X9 5G
The Honor X7 will be the global variant of the Honor Play 30 Plus which was launched in China in late last 2021.
The device will sport a 6.74-inch TFT display with HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels along with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC partnered with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The primary camera will be a 13MP with a 2MP depth sensor. While the front camera will be a 5MP shooter.
Honor X30
The Honor X9 5G is the global variant of the Honor X30 which was also launched late last 2021.
The Honor X9 5G will have a 6.81-inch IPS display with 1080 x 2388 resolution with a triple-camera setup including a 48MP main, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth rear camera. For the front camera, it’ll have a 16MP shooter.
This device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM along with 128GB or 256GB storage options. It will be sporting a 4800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging that Huawei claims to be able to charge from 0% to 80% in 30 minutes. Sensors will include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
The alleged dimensions are 166.1 x 75.8 x 8.1 mm with 189g weight.
