Launching alongside the HONOR Magic V2 27 foldable in the Philippines on February 21 is the HONOR X8b.
It sports a pill-shaped notch housing a 50-megapixel selfie camera and what appears to be an LED flash. You’ll likely recognize the inspiration, as it also features a “Magic Capsule” that mimics Apple’s Dynamic Island, displaying status indicators and notifications with dynamic animations.
Similar to the HONOR X9b 5G 30, it boasts a five-star drop resistance certification by SGS Switzerland. Flip it over, and you’ll find a triple camera setup led by a 108-megapixel primary sensor.
The Glamorous Green is certainly eye-catching featuring a faux leather back shell with a patterned design and matching frame color for a stylish touch.
Powering this device is the good ol’ Snapdragon 680, configured with up to 16GB extended RAM and 512GB storage. The battery capacity is slightly lower than usual at 4500mAh, but it compensates with 35W fast charging.
