How to activate Smart GPRS or TNT (Talk N Text)

Welcome to the Smart GPRS or 3G tutorial page. The information below will help you and guide in setting up your phone for GPRS or 3G connection. It will also show you how to hook up your PC or laptop to any Smart 3G-enabled phone:

Download Smart GPRS settings:

Step 1: Using your 3G handset, go to Tools > Settings > Network Mode > select Dual Mode.

Step 2: Activate your handset by texting Set 3G and send to 211.

Step 3: Save Settings sent by 333. Key in 1234 when prompted.

If you have a Nokia E71, that’s â€œSET 3G N71â€

To download Smart MMS phone settings:

Key in SET MMS and send to 211.

To download SMART GPRS phone settings:

Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that’s â€œSET MMS N6230â€

Setting up of MMS and GPRS handsets:

To download SMART MMS phone settings, key in SET MMS and send to 211.
To download SMART GPRS phone settings, key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Activating SMART MMS and GPRS:
To activate SMART GPRS, key in GPRS ON and send to 333.
To activate SMART MMS, key in MMS ON and send to 333

Upon receiving the configuration settings, select “Save All” to save the settings in the phone.

Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated.

Note:
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select â€œSave Allâ€ to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.

cherry mobile burst ang gamit ko.. na set ko ang gprs ko sa 211 at sa 333. at na activate na ang gprs pero d pa rin ako mka log in sa facebook. pls help. thanks

how to set gprs/3g/mms to my blackberry bold 9790?
i can’t connect to the internet.
i already activated my sim and phone thru sim connect but still can’t browse the net.
no confirmation sent by the service provider.

I have the same problem. I tried registering my prepaid number via the my.SMART website so I could register my Blackberry Curve 9320 for MMS/GPRS/3G/Internet.

Sadly, after navigating to Manage Services > Phone and Sim > MMS/GPRS/3G Activation there is no option for Blackberry inside the “Brand” drop-down menu.
