How to activate Sun Cellular GPRS

1) To activate your GPRS and handset settings, text ACTIVATE to 2300.

2) In case you are unable to receive handset settings, you may choose to configure your handset settings manually. Please select your handset model in the drop down list below and follow the instructions in the file.

* Note: Configuration guide provided for each handset will depend on the supported feature/s.

A friendly reminder from Sun Cellular: Avoid incurring unintentional Mobile Internet costs by

(1) Exiting your Web Browser after surfing to cut the GPRS/Internet Connection;

(2) Setting your phone’s GPRS/Internet Connection to MANUAL to avoid automatic connection. Please check your phone manual for instructions on how to turn off your phone’s automatic internet connection; and

(3) Doing the same for phone apps. Set your phone apps’ GPRS/Internet Connection to Manual to avoid automatic connection.

Sun GPRS

On the home screen, press the Programs soft key, press More to move to the next page.
Press Settings, select Data Connection
Press the Menu soft key then select Edit Connection by pressing the Action button.
Select GPRS Connection. Press Menu then select Add by pressing the Action button.

Provide the following data on the required field:

q Description: Sun GPRS
q Connects to: The Internet
q Access point: minternet

Press Done three times. On the Data connection, select Sun GPRS under Internet connection.
When finished, press Done.

Sun WAP GPRS

On the home screen, press the Programs soft key, press More to move to the next page.
Press Settings, select Data Connection.
Press the Menu soft key then select Edit Connection by pressing the Action button.
Select GPRS Connection. Press Menu then select Add by pressing the Action button.

Provide the following data on the required field:

q Description: Sun WAP GPRS
q Connects to: The Internet
q Access point: mms

Press Done three times. On the Data connection, select Sun WAP GPRS under WAP connection.
When finished, press Done.

Sun WAP Proxy

Crate a proxy connection

Description: Sun WAP Proxy
Connects from: The internet
Connects to: WAP network
Proxy (name/Port): 193.113.200.195
Type: WAP

To Activate GPRS:
Create a text message, type “ACTIVATE” then send to 2300

the customer service 200 of sun hotline are busy why not sending the MMS settings of my account wherein i have already activated the GPRS and INTERNET SETTINGS OF my mobile phone calling such my ears and my typing in my phone not so fast.
