HP outs Envy x360 with Ryzen and Intel 8th Generation processors

Apart from updating their premium Envy line, HP also unveiled a revamped Envy x360 that now has either a Ryzen or Intel 8th generation CPU. Again, like the Envy line, it will have two variants — a 13-inch and a 15-inch.

These 2-in-1’s are encased in an all-metal exterior frame and carries over the “Damascus” steel design patterns we saw in the Envy notebooks.

First up let’s take a look at the 13-inch Envy x360. Unlike it’s bigger sibling, the 13-inch variant of the x360 is an all AMD based system with no Intel counterpart. The notebook is powered by a 13.3-inch FHD/UHD IPS touch display, AMD’s Ryzen 5 2500U or Ryzen 2700U, Radeon RX Vega 8 or 10 GPU, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 128-256GB M.2 SSD.

Next up, the bigger 15-inch Envy x360. As mentioned earlier, this variant can either be equipped with a Ryzen or Intel setup. Powering the device on AMD’s side is their Ryzen 5 2500U or Ryzen 7 2700U processor, Radeon RX Vega 8 or 10 GPU, 8-12GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 128-256GB M.2 SSD. For Intel’s side, we can have either the 8th gen Core i5-8250U or Core i7-8550U processors, Intel UHD 620 or Nvidia Geforce MX150 GPUs, 8-12GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 128-256GB M.2 SSD (with the option to have an additional HDD). The device comes with a 15.6-inch FHD/UHD IPS touch display.

The HP Envy x360 13-inch variant starts at $759.99 (~Php 39,918) while the 15-inch x360 starts at $869.99 (~Php 45,696). Local pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
