HP Spectre x360 15, HP Elite Dragonfly now official

HP has introduced two new laptops at CES2020: The Spectre X360 15 and Elite Dragonfly.

The HP Spectre X360 15 is a 2-in-1 laptop that sports a 15.6-inch DCI-P3 certified 4K OLED display, an Intel 10 Gen Processor (up to an i7) paired with NVIDIA GeForce graphics, with a battery life rated for up to 17 hours. It’s equipped with Intel’s WiFi 6 chip for better connectivity with customizable network prioritization and settings via Network Booster in the HP Command Center app. For security, it has a webcam kill switch, a dedicated mute mic button, and a fingerprint reader on the keyboard deck. It also comes with Express VPN and LastPass out of the box.

The HP Elite Dragonfly is the world’s lightest business convertible laptop with 5G support. It sports a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display with a 10th Gen Intel Core vPro processor. It features HP’s Sure View Reflect technology, which is a built-in privacy screen that can be toggled with a keyboard button, and a camera shutter for security. HP boasts that it’s the first notebook made with ocean-bound plastic material with more than 82% of the mechanical parts made from recycled materials. It’s also equipped with Tile tracking hardware to find lost notebooks when purchased with the optional Tile Premium Service.

The HP Spectre X360 is expected to be released in March via HP’s website , with a starting price of USD 1,599.99. The HP Elite Dragonfly, on the other hand, with the optional Tile integration and HP Sure View Reflect, is expected to be available starting February 2020 via HP’s website as well.
