Huami has just announced its latest smartwatches, the Amazfit Verge 2 and the Amazfit Health Watch. Both smartwatches feature an ECG sensor.
The Amazfit Verge 2 has a circular OLED display measuring at 1.39 inches with a 454 x 454-pixel resolution and comes equipped with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it has a Snapdragon Wear 2500 chipset, with 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage. It also comes equipped with an e-SIM module, allowing it to be a 4G VoLTE call-supporting smartwatch. The smartwatch has 10 different sports modes, can monitor health events, has a battery life of 28 hours, and runs on Amazfit OS compatible with Android and iOS. An ECG version of the Amazfit Verge 2 is also available; it has a real-time ECG screening for arrhythmia and atrial fibrillation and can store up to 60 minutes of ECG data for up to 7 days.
Huami will also be releasing a limited-edition Avengers version of the Verge 2, however, only 5,000 units will be sold.
On the other hand, the Amazfit Health Watch has a rounded square colored display measuring at 1.28 inches. It has an ECG sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, and water resistant up to 3 STM. It has a battery life that lasts for 7 days.

While the Amazfit Health Watch has a price tag of CNY 699PHP 5,635USD 96INR 8,138EUR 91 (~PHP 5,250USD 89INR 7,584EUR 85CNY 652). The Amazfit Verge 2 is now up for pre-order and will be available, along with the ECG and Avengers versions, in July in China. The Amazfit Health Watch will be available for purchase in China in late June.
