Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu recently shared a photo believed to have come from the highly anticipated Huawei P60 Pro.
The shot is quite impressive which captured both the artificially lit building on a pitch-black background and the detail of the full moon, showcasing the phone’s dynamic range.
The released photos via Weibo indicate that the Huawei P60 Pro’s camera features a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor and a 3.5x magnification lens.
Huawei smartphones commonly use the RYYB color filter, and the P60 Pro will feature dual 50MP Sony lenses for the main and ultra-wide cameras.
Rumors also suggest that the smartphone will sport a 6.6-inch QHD display with 120Hz refresh rate, IP68 certification, and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging.
Earlier reports suggested that the phone would be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, however subsequent rumors indicate that it would be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
However, the model is said to be restricted to 4G as Huawei still lacks access to 5G chips due to trade restrictions.
Huawei will unveil the P60 series later this month, which will include a vanilla model and the much-awaited Pro model.
