Renders of Huawei’s upcoming flagship lineup, the P40 series, have surfaced online. The smartphone lineup will consist of the P40 and the P40 Pro.
Posted by 91mobiles and tipster @OnLeaks, the P40 seems to have a rectangle-shaped camera module on the rear, with about four sensors. Upfront, it looks to have a flat display that’s reported to measure at either 6.1-inches or 6.2-inches.
The P40 Pro has a similar rear camera module, however, it’s unknown how many cameras it will have. In the renders, the P40 Pro’s display is reported to measure 6.5 to 6.7-inches and seems to have curved edges, while the metal frame of its corners will have a new design. It’s currently unknown what kind of front camera module the devices will be equipped with.
It’s said that the devices will have the USB-C port, SIM card tray, and speaker grilles at the bottom. The right side will house the volume rocker and power buttons. Unfortunately, it seems that the P40 series will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Huawei’s P40 series is the successor to the P30 lineup of handsets, released earlier this year. CEO Richard Yu has confirmed that the P40 series will launch by March 2020 in Paris. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the launch date.
