Huawei has officially unveiled the latest P50 series— the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro in China.
Both smartphones feature an FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. The Huawei P50 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G processor, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 4,100mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
On the other hand, the Huawei P50 Pro comes in two versions: one powered with Kirin 9000, and the other is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G processor. Both versions only support 4G connectivity. In addition, it will be available in multiple configurations, including 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of storage, as well as a higher-end model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It also comes with a larger 4,360mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
Furthermore, the smartphones’ cameras are still Leica-branded with 50MP main cameras and improved telephoto modules. The P50 has triple rear cameras, while the Pro version comes with quad rear cameras. Upfront, both devices have a 13MP selfie camera. Check out their full specs below.

In China, the Huawei P50 8GB variants will be available in September 2021. However, the Huawei P50 Pro will be up for pre-order on July 30, with the first shipments scheduled on August 12. The top-specced model with 12GB + 512GB will also be available in September in two colorways: Black and Blue.
