Huawei has recently launched the latest flagship smartphones under the P50 series, and leading the lineup is the P50 Pro. Scoring 144 points in the DXOMARK Camera test, it now ranks number one, knocking the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra 5G down to second place by one point.
The Huawei P50 Pro boasts quad rear cameras with a 50MP F1.8 (main-colored), 40MP F.16 (main-b&w), 13MP F2.2 (ultrawide), and a 64MP F3.5 (telephoto). Upfront is a 13MP F2.4 camera.
DXOMARK rounded off the testing with an overall score of 144 points and revealed the per-category scores for Photo, Zoom, and Video for the Huawei P50 Pro. The newest Huawei flagship phone received a 149 for Photo, 107 for Zoom, and 116 for Video. For comparison, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra 5G garnered 148, 100, and 117 points respectively.
DXOMark remarks that the Huawei P50 Pro still camera has low noise levels, a wide dynamic range in poor weather conditions, accurate and natural white balance, and good detail at medium and long-range tele indoors and in daylight. As for the video, it says it offers high detail with exposure in indoor and daylight conditions, a wide dynamic range, effective video stabilization, and stable autofocus.
